Every month there is an activity planned for the children that is lots of fun and provides an opportunity for them to get better acquainted with each other.

3-5 Grade 2011-2012 Events

September 25      College Freshman Care Packages
Children will be creating packages filled with goodies for our recent high school graduates, as well as play games and eat lunch.

November 6         Thanksgiving Feast with a Twist
Children will bring a food item beginning with the first letter of his or her last name and keeps it a secret.  The “feast” will be eaten in alphabetical order.

January   14-15     Serve & Sleep-over
Children will come for an overnight at St. Michael’s which will include a service project, stories, movies, snacks and SLEEPING!  Sunday morning they get to come to church in their P.J.’s.  How fun is that!

February 12            Youth Performance Company
Children will attend the Youth Performance Company to see “And a Child Shall Lead” a heroic story of children coming of age in Terezin, the “Jewish City” established by the Nazis.  In the face of darkness, these children use their determination and creativity to build lives with hope and beauty.
