MIDDLE SCHOOL FELLOWSHIP  
   

Monthly fellowship activities are scheduled for middle school youth allowing them to enjoy a special activity and spending time together.

 

6-8 Grade 2009-2010 Events

September  27           Camp St. Croix All Day Retreat
At Camp St. Croix in Hudson we will play games, climb ropes and scale walls.  After our group bonding, we will feast on a hardy camp dinner.

October     15-16       Cardboard Box City 2009     
We will sleep-out at the State Fair Grounds in a decorated cardboard box in order to build awareness and funds to knock-out family homelessness.  While there, youth will enjoy music at the band stand and eat soup kitchen style.
                    
November   15           Cell Phone Scavenger Hunt
The hunt is a twist on finding and taking a “Kodak Moment” around town with friends. 

January     10           Winter Wonderland Mystery Event
Somehow, somewhere we will enjoy the winter elements of Minnesota, but we will have to check the Farmer’s Almanac before the mystery is revealed.

March       27           Audubon Center of the North Woods
Although winter may seem long, before you know it, those cold, snowy days give way to warmer longer days and that is when the sap begins to flow in the maples.  That’s maple syrup time at the Audubon Center of the North Woods.  Learn the history and process of making maple syrup, plus enjoy a delicious pancake brunch!

April        13           Feed My Starving Children
At “Feed My Starving Children” we will hand-pack meals formulated specially for starving children in more than 60 countries around the world.
